After completing over three summer schools in the UK, I moved here at the age of 13 to pursue a general education. This transition required me to adapt to a new system and prepare for my GCSEs, a concept that was completely foreign to me, followed by A Levels. Both of these secondary school examinations were new challenges, and I needed guidance. However, through extensive research and seeking advice from my teachers, I successfully attained excellent grades, which allowed me to gain admission to the prestigious University of Warwick, where I also met Iurii.

During my time at Warwick, I completed both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree. However, a new challenge awaited: securing a job. Despite having top grades and strong qualifications, the job market in the UK is highly competitive due to the abundance of talent. Through perseverance, I became a Business Analyst at a SaaS firm, and from there, my career progressed rapidly. I realised I wanted to share my knowledge with the next generation, which led me to co-found Academ Guards.

My academic journey in the UK began at age 11 at Holme Grange, a day school in Wokingham. As I approached my GCSE years, I transitioned to LVS Ascot, where I spent two formative years. Seeking even greater challenges, my family and I chose Malvern College, a renowned coeducational boarding and day school in Worcestershire with a history dating back to 1865. My time there was transformative, providing both personal growth and strong preparation for my GCSEs and Alevels.

After completing secondary education, I was accepted into Warwick University, where I earned both my BA and MSc degrees. My academic career culminated in an exciting dissertation project on market creation for Individually Tradable Pollution Permits. Following two years in the tech industry and gaining British citizenship, I co-founded Academ Guards with Rakhat, a close friend from Warwick.
